* Work with high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or requiring assistance with navigating county and state public assistance programs, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
* Handle inbound calls and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
* Resolve all aspects of customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.
* Enter accurate information into the database.
* Collaborate with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
* Maintain records and ensure proper documentation.
* Perform light administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing.
* Handle email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling.
* 1-3 years of experience in social work or homecare administration.
* Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience.
* Microsoft Office proficient.
* 40 wpm typing speed.
* Background screen after acceptance of job offer.
