Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, and provide education, ensuring high-quality service and a positive experience. This role requires independent and self-directed performance, working closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications. Key Responsibilities: Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, aiming to provide overall savings to patients and clients. Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications in collaboration with the Specialty Projects Team. Perform numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies. Handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information. Utilize working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education. Identify and escalate routine assessments and problems to a pharmacist as needed. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: 1+ year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone. 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application. Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Must reside in the state of Nevada. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the healthcare industry or pharmacy setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare concepts. Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and clients. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
