As a customer service representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, resolving complex issues, and driving resolution on the first call whenever possible. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, have a strong understanding of health care, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Demonstrate a deep understanding of internal and external factors that may drive caller questions and issues, such as recent plan changes, mass mailings, and weather emergencies. * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify underlying questions and issues, using root cause analysis techniques. * Gather relevant data and information to determine the scope and depth of the question or issue. * Identify and coordinate internal resources across multiple departments to address client situations, escalating to appropriate resources as needed. * Proactively contact external resources, such as providers, labs, and brokers, to address caller questions and issues. * Utilize knowledge resources, including websites, CRM tools, and knowledge bases, to drive resolution of applicable questions and issues. * Identify and communicate steps and solutions to caller questions and issues, using problem-solving skills and established guidelines. * Offer additional options to provide solutions and positive outcomes for callers, such as online access to relevant information and additional plan benefits. * Make outbound calls to resolve caller questions and issues, driving resolution on the first call whenever possible. * Ensure proper documentation of caller questions and issues, including research conducted and steps required for final resolution. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent work experience. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * 1+ years of experience in a related environment, such as office, administrative, clerical, customer service, or health care. * Health care experience, including primary and specialty appointments or health plans. * Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. * Ability to work any of our full-time, 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST from Monday to Friday. **Preferred Qualifications** * Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. * Experience working in the EPIC system. * Experience working in a remote position. **Telecommuting Requirements** * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure. * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. * Ability to connect directly into the internet via a hard wire (either directly to the modem or router). * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy. **Compensation and Benefits** * Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. * Incentive and recognition programs to reward outstanding performance. * Equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. **Work Environment and Culture** * arenaflex is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. * Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of our clients. * We offer a supportive work environment that empowers our employees to grow and thrive. **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of health care, we encourage you to apply.
