**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – State Disbursement Unit – Work From Home Opportunity, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to customer service calls and correspondence according to Standard Operating Procedures and contact requirements
* Processing correspondence in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements
* Documenting correspondence and contacts in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements
* Completing arenaflex system and State system updates in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements
* Interpreting, applying, analyzing, and explaining laws, procedures, and regulations pertaining to SDU payment processing procedures and programs
* Maintaining accurate and interrelated records
* Responding promptly to customer needs
* Identifying and resolving errors
* Working with integrity and ethically
* Working independently with little direction
* Meeting schedules and timelines
* Working confidentially with discretion
* Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing
* Applying interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
**Desired Knowledge and Abilities**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of customer service techniques, including how to handle upset callers
* Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
* Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
* Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
* Ability to interpret, apply, analyze, and explain laws, procedures, and regulations pertaining to SDU payment processing procedures and programs
* Ability to maintain accurate and interrelated records
* Ability to respond promptly to customer needs
* Ability to identify and resolve errors

* Ability to meet schedules and timelines
* Ability to work confidentially with discretion

**Education and/or Experience**
* High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or other related field
* OR
* An equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work
**Language Skills**
* Must be fluent in English – Speaking, Reading & Writing
**Computer Skills**
* Must be proficient in data entry skills including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
* Must have experience and knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows products
