**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, resolving issues and answering questions related to our specialty locks products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls and emails, and providing solutions to customers in a timely and professional manner.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Receive and respond to consumer calls and emails regarding problems, installation instructions, and general product information
* Answer high-volume incoming technical support calls and provide solutions to customers
* Offer knowledge and guidance to customers, directing them to the proper source if necessary
* Handle a strong volume of calls with tact, diplomacy, and strong consumer service orientation in accordance with company guidelines
* Complete information on computer screens with pertinent data while working with customers over the phone
* Respond to consumer repairs and requests according to Consumer Service procedures
* Evaluate product problems, determine if products need to be scrapped or repaired, and assist customers with installation techniques, product features, and models
**Top Skills and Qualifications**
* At least one (1) year of experience in a product-based customer support function and/or call center environment
* Previous experience in the hardware and home improvement industry is preferred
* Technical mindset and willingness to learn, with a strong personality and self-motivation
* Type 35+ WPM
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Good verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual skills in Spanish or French a plus
* Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with customers in difficult situations
* Basic mechanical aptitude
