About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to work from home in Tennessee, specifically within 75 miles of our Specialty location at 8370 Wolf Lake Dr Ste 107, Bartlett, TN 38133. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, while delivering compassionate care and support. Key Responsibilities: Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare providers, and internal partners to facilitate the processing of specialty medications. Verify and validate benefits, translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, and communicate copay amounts. Obtain authorizations, work with insurance companies, and collaborate with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing and meeting financial and clinical expectations. Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating genuine care and compassion for patients and customers. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone. Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and aptitude. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
