As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in providing inbound phone support, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Act as a member advocate, explaining various aspects of our services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, and provider networks. Answer a high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence daily, meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards. Document and record facts regarding inquiries and correspondence, updating arenaflex files and systems as necessary.Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals. Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the customer service team. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of external customer service experience, preferably in the health insurance industry. Intermediate skill in using office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones. Detailed-oriented, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy while navigating multiple computer systems and software programs.Preferred Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with the opportunity to earn an additional $1 per hour Bilingual Premium. Previous experience in a remote or call center environment, with a proven track record of meeting performance and quality standards. Knowledge of health insurance products and services, including contract benefits, claims, and provider networks. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software programs, including CRM software and other customer service tools. A $1,000 onboarding bonus, paid in two installments of $500 at 3 and 6 months. Up to 16 days of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 8 hours of paid volunteer time to support our community.
