Job Description
Delta Airlines is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join its team in a remote data entry position. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer service functions, providing exceptional support to our customers, and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Securely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft, as well as being responsible for convenient connections by directing arriving and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
Protect freight, items, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
Securely drive and operate ground equipment like tugs, belt loaders, and tow farm trucks in areas of congestion.
Work baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is directed precisely to the customer's destination.
Booking based on operational needs. Shifts range from early morning to late evening. Each station is different due to its unique flight schedule. You will also work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your status.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
A valid driver's license.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to wear required company-supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety toe footwear, defensive headwear (hard hat or hard cap), and high-visibility safety clothing subject to an approved convenience, like substitute PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer service or data entry role.
Knowledge of airline operations and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
