Foreign Exchange Sales Analyst
First Citizens Bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FX Sales Analyst to join their dynamic Foreign Exchange team. This developmental analyst position will support the Corporate FX Sales team with operational tasks, client service coordination, and sales support while developing the skills necessary for a career in Corporate FX sales.ResponsibilitiesShadow senior salespeople on client calls and meetings to develop sales acumen and client relationship skillsDevelop foundational knowledge of FX products, pricing, and risk management through on-the-job trainingBuild relationships with internal partners across Product, Trading, Credit, and OperationsGradually expand responsibilities and client-facing activities based on performance and readinessParticipate in client discovery conversations to understand business needs and FX opportunitiesAssist senior salespeople with preparation for client meetings (materials, research, logistics)Support planning and execution of client events (logistics, invitations, budget tracking)Gather market intelligence and competitive data to support sales strategyPrepare presentation materials and client-facing documents as neededAssist with CRM hygiene and data management (call reports, opportunity tracking, contact updates)Respond to routine client inquiries regarding trade status, payment tracking, and account servicesCoordinate with internal partners (Product, Credit, Operations) to gather information for client requestsSupport relationship management activities for assigned client segmentsInvestigate and resolve payment issues, including wire tracking, trade confirmations, and settlement exceptionsExecute buybacks, amendments, and trade corrections under supervisionServe as primary liaison between Sales and Middle Office/Operations teams to expedite issue resolutionSupport trade booking and transaction workflow when senior salespeople are unavailable or out of officeMonitor and assist with compliance requirements for client transactionsContribute to team-wide sales initiatives and campaignsAssist with data analysis and reporting for sales performance trackingParticipate in cross-functional projects as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Team-first attitude and willingness to handle operational tasksProactive mindset with a 'bias toward action'Interest in developing sales and client relationship skillsBasic understanding of financial markets and foreign exchange conceptsFamiliarity with Bloomberg or other financial analysis toolsPrior experience in banking operations or client service rolesDemonstrated interest in capital markets or institutional salesBenefitsBenefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.Company OverviewFirst Citizens Bank provides banking services, essential business and professional services, wealth management capabilities, and more.
