Experienced Customer Service Representative – Part Time Remote Position with Competitive Hourly Rate

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, handling patient enrollment, and answering high-volume customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities Utilize Walgreens solution information passage methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests, including entering refill orders for processing, and investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes). Settle all information passage-related exceptions. Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Settle Outsider Oddballs by investigating, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement necessities. Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations, and recognize and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary. Obtain active professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification. Essential Capabilities Essential level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online. Basic web search skills, including opening a program, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and arranging reports. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Preferred Capabilities No less than one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with an endorsement/enrollment by state as conceded by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. Advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports. Familiarity with Spanish and English.
