As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive and inclusive work environment. **Primary Responsibilities:** • **Answer Incoming Calls:** Respond to patient inquiries, address concerns, and provide accurate information in a professional and empathetic manner. • **Coordinate Billing Activities:** Collaborate with peers to recognize problems, research options, and implement solutions to ensure seamless billing processes. • **Perform Billing/Verification:** Accurately process and verify patient accounts, ensuring timely and correct reimbursement for services. • **Calculate Out-of-Pocket Amounts:** Determine patient responsibility for advanced services, providing clear and concise communication to ensure a smooth billing experience. • **Respond to Inquiries:** Provide timely and accurate responses to patient inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. **Education, Experience, and Knowledge:** • **High School Diploma or Equivalent:** A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. • **Medical Billing and Insurance Verification Experience:** Two years of experience in medical billing and insurance verification is essential. • **Customer Service Experience:** Two years of experience in a customer service environment is required. • **Software Experience:** NextGen EPM and Epic software experience are highly desirable. • **Skills and Abilities:** Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are essential.
