As an Entry-Level Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigator, you will review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activityVerify client identities and assess their relationships with financial institutions for Know your Customer (KYC) purposesInterpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial dataIdentify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level reviewWrite clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendationsUse basic Excel functions and technology applications (Microsoft, internet) for analysisAdhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasksSubmit written work product for review by internal quality control teams and make necessary adjustments based on feedbackMeet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentEnsure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and company policies, and client requirements related to Anti-Money LaunderingSkillsBachelor's Degree requiredMust reside within 40 miles of our Highland Hills (23000 Millcreek Blvd, Highland Hills, OH 44122) officeStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to learn quicklyAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office toolsAbility to adapt to feedback, work independently, and identify process improvementsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) and strong research skills are a plusBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, vision, and defined contribution retirement plan benefitsPaid time off and holidays (in accordance with local law)Professional development opportunitiesCollaborative work environment with global exposureCompany OverviewAML RightSource is a provider of anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance services.
