Job Overview
In this remote work opportunity, you will have the chance to work with and directly assist families and schools that participate in a scholarship program, responding to incoming calls related to student inquiries, scholarship application and funding status, and ensuring that all questions are answered, and callers are satisfied. Key Responsibilities

Respond to incoming calls from families and schools, providing timely and accurate information and support
Address varied needs of callers, including student inquiries, scholarship application and funding status, and other related issues
Ensure that all questions are answered, and callers are satisfied, providing exceptional customer service experience
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls and requests
Maintain accurate records and documentation of calls, issues, and resolutions
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes


Essential Qualifications

At least one year of customer service or call center experience
English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience
Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during sometimes difficult, tense situations
Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask
Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort using PC and internet navigation


Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools
Knowledge of scholarship programs or education-related services
Bilingual or multilingual skills (an asset)
