About the Role: Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, working directly with customers to address their inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding our products and services across multiple lines of business. Your professionalism, expertise, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences will be instrumental in shaping our customers' perceptions of our brand. Key Responsibilities: Resolve coordination of benefits inquiries by analyzing patient activity, including enrollment, third-party liability, and claims attachments. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverage and communicate accurate information to customers. Thoroughly document all customer interactions to ensure seamless issue resolution. Educate customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, and authorizations. Promote the usage and benefits of self-service tools to enhance customer experience. Assist members in gaining access to care by locating a network dentist or assigning a primary care dentist. Direct inquiries to necessary departments or individuals when the resolution is beyond your span of control. Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner through various channels, including phone, email, web portal, and chat interactions. Research and provide accurate information to resolve member and provider inquiries. Take ownership of issue resolution and set expectations for follow-up. Ensure resubmissions, stop payments, and voids are handled appropriately. Meet or exceed individual, department, and client-specific goals. Adhere to client administrative and contractual policies and procedures. Suggest ways to improve service delivery processes, contributing to the organization's success. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess: A High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment. Experience in the healthcare or related industry is preferred. The ability to multitask using multiple applications simultaneously. Strong technical skills, including the ability to set up computer equipment and troubleshoot issues with minimal assistance. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A cooperative, professional, and effective interaction style. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Qualifications: To further enhance your candidacy, you may possess: Knowledge of medical/dental terminology.
