Job Overview and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, taking inbound calls, and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions. Your goal will be to provide solutions that simplify our customers' healthcare experience, ensuring they understand their coverage and options. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving members' questions on the first call. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The following qualifications are required: 6 months of experience interacting with customers (e.g., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience) Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent Maintain your own internet with approved speed requirements and a secure work space free from distractions Adherence to HIPAA and governmental compliance is required in this role Preferred qualifications include: 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment or Healthcare related field 6 months of work from home experience Healthcare certification (e.g., Med Assistant) a plus Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Empathy and understanding of our members' needs and concerns Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At CVS Health, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
