Why You'll Love This Job As a Customer Service Representative with American Airlines, you'll be an integral part of the London Heathrow customer services team. Key Responsibilities Offer consistently first-rate customer service, ensuring a seamless experience at all contact points. Carry out various airport-associated tasks and be prepared to support daily operations in areas such as check-in, gates, transfer, arrival, luggage services, and ticketing (ATAC). Work closely with and take instructions from the team leader responsible for the flight/work areas/shift. Conduct relevant administrative tasks, including ATAC, pre-flight, and post-flight departure procedures. Represent American Airlines by adhering to uniform standards and adopting a customer-centered approach at all times. Promote and sell American Airlines services and products to customers. Attend and complete all mandatory training within given time limits. Adhere to and promote safe working practices at all times. Perform other reasonable duties consistent with the post. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. A solution-oriented approach to resolving conflicts and addressing customer concerns. The ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision. A strong customer focus and experience in face-to-face customer interactions. A well-groomed appearance and the ability to represent the company at all times. Willingness and ability to work in a shift environment, including weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays. Reliability and punctuality. Compliance with all American Airlines policies and procedures. High-level written and verbal communication skills. A valid BAA Airside Pass. GSAT training. Willingness and ability to complete all relevant training. A valid DVLA driving license, with the willingness to apply for a BAA driving license as required. Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a valid BAA Jet Bridge Permit as required. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, having: PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. will be considered advantageous.
