Job Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our airline, extending hospitality to our customers at the ticket counter, baggage service office, and gate area. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your role will be critical in setting a positive tone for our customers' travel experience, and we are looking for individuals who are friendly, patient, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Offer friendly support to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers
Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our organization
Provide excellent customer service to individuals seeking to travel, use cargo or baggage services by addressing their needs
Handle all aspects of check-in and registration by operating an electronic point-of-sale system, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues
Greet and handle customers in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets
Process transactions, make change, and balance daily transactions, being accountable for any overage or shortage
Physically check in baggage and cargo, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on an as-needed basis
Handle transactions necessary to board the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner
Manage upset customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving such issues quickly and within guidelines established by the organization


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced airport setting, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service experience in an airport or airline setting
Knowledge of airline operations, including check-in and registration procedures
Experience working with electronic point-of-sale systems and baggage handling equipment
Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages commonly spoken by our customers
High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred
