Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the healthcare system work better for everyone. **About the Role** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Benefit Advocate to join our team on a night shift, working remotely from anywhere within the U.S. As a Customer Service Benefit Advocate, you'll be responsible for responding to and resolving customer service inquiries and issues, helping guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven healthcare topics, and assisting customers in navigating our websites and becoming self-sufficient. **Primary Responsibilities** * Respond to and resolve, on the first call, customer service inquiries and issues by identifying the topic and type of assistance the caller needs such as benefits, eligibility, and claims, financial spending accounts, and correspondence. * Help guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven healthcare topics to select the best benefit plan options, maximize the value of their health plan benefits, and choose a quality care provider. * Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance. * Assist customers in navigating myuhc.com and other arenaflex websites and encourage and reassure them to become self-sufficient. **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience * Must be 18 years of age OR older * Minimum of 6+ months of customer service experience * Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications * This position is full-time remote overnight position (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work an 8-hour shift schedule between the hours of 8:00 pm - 8:00 am EST. This role also requires weekends and a few holidays. **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare / Insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, OR benefit plan design) * Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations) **Telecommuting Requirements** * Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a arenaflex approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy **Compensation and Benefits** The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
