As part of this effort, we're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Automation Manager to join our Marketing Technology (MarTech) team within Amazon Flex. This role will play a crucial part in scaling our outbound marketing efforts and driving the success of our customer delivery experiences. About Amazon Flex and the MarTech Team Amazon Flex is a pioneering logistics program that crowdsources independent contractors, known as Delivery Partners, to coordinate deliveries to our customers. By leveraging the flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit of these partners, we're able to provide fast, accurate, and cost-effective delivery solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. The MarTech team is responsible for managing the platforms and systems that enable our marketing partners to take an integrated omni-channel approach to scaling our business and campaigns. As a Marketing Automation Manager within this team, you'll be a power user of our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo) and will own email execution, as well as orchestrate personalized, multi-channel campaigns across email, push, and SMS. Key Responsibilities Implement, own, and manage Marketo instance and platform integrations : Ensure seamless integration with Marketo and other relevant platforms to drive marketing automation efforts. Own development, deployment, optimization : Develop and deploy marketing automation campaigns, and continually optimize them for improved performance. Create testing processes : Establish rigorous testing processes to ensure code quality and campaign effectiveness. Ensure successful configuration, implementation, and maintenance of marketing programs : Oversee the setup, execution, and ongoing maintenance of marketing programs within Marketo. Perform issue management : Identify and resolve issues related to marketing automation projects, providing timely and effective solutions. Build and optimize segmentation : Develop and refine segmentation strategies to support unique campaign needs and improve customer targeting. Create and maintain detailed documentation and SOPs : Develop and update operational processes, workflows, and training documents to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency. Create, implement, and maintain dashboards and reporting : Design and maintain dashboards to track key performance and success metrics, and assist with closed-loop reporting. Manage project timelines : Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely execution of campaigns from design to distribution. Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration : Drive ongoing improvements and best practices in Marketo configuration and maintenance. Stay current with data privacy laws and ensure compliance : Remain up-to-date with relevant data privacy laws, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and partner with relevant channels to ensure compliance. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A strong background in marketing automation, preferably within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. Experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to develop and optimize email campaigns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive campaign optimization. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. A detail-oriented and organized approach to work, with strong attention to accuracy and quality. Preferred qualifications include: Experience working within a marketing technology team, or a similar environment. Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR, CCPA/CPRA. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and iterative campaign optimization. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Marketing automation expertise : A deep understanding of marketing automation principles, including campaign development, execution, and optimization. Technical skills : Proficiency in Marketo, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. Analytical and problem-solving skills : The ability to analyze data, identify issues, and drive campaign optimization. Project management skills : Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Collaboration and communication skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
