Registering sales on allocated sales registers and providing clients with excellent checkout services
Engaging clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience
Modeling and offering client support best practices with all colleagues to deliver a particular and wonderful client experience
Recommending items for sale to clients and suggesting upsell and/or companion items
Maintaining counters and retiring areas clean and well-promoted, taking stock, and keeping records
Implementing Organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss
Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled products
Developing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock
Assisting with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures
Providing client support in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine
Taking on web pick obligations, including screening orders, picking items, and delivering orders to clients
Maintaining a clean, sleek, and systematic store environment and appearance
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Ability to read, write, and speak English (except in Puerto Rico)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and multitask
Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be advantageous in this role:
At least six months of experience in a retail environment
Previous work experience with Walgreens
Ability to speak multiple languages
Experience with customer service software and technology
Knowledge of retail operations and procedures
