As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Agent – Airport Shuttle Operations and Terminal Support, you will be responsible for: * Operating shuttle vehicles to escort customers to and from the terminal building, ensuring a safe and efficient transportation experience. * Monitoring shuttle request forms and cell phones for arriving passenger needs, responding promptly to requests and resolving any issues that may arise. * Assisting wheelchair passengers to the airline ticket counter and from the security exit to their vehicle, providing personalized support and care. * Providing jump-start services and pumping up tires for passengers as needed. * Assisting passengers with the transport of baggage, ensuring that their belongings are safely and securely handled. * Answering questions from passengers and drivers, providing clear and concise information to resolve any queries or concerns. * Maintaining required records and submitting reports of the number of passengers assisted, ensuring accurate and timely data collection. * Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the terminal area and shuttle vehicle, upholding high standards of hygiene and safety. * Maintaining surveillance of the parking lot and reporting any unusual incidents or concerns to management. * Assisting with special events as directed by the supervisor, contributing to the success of our airport operations. * Assisting with snow removal as directed by the supervisor, ensuring that our facilities remain safe and accessible during winter conditions. * Performing other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. **Knowledge and Abilities** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * The ability to stand for upwards of 8 hours, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance. * The ability to work in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures and conditions. * The ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations. * The ability to lift up to 60 pounds, ensuring that you can handle heavy luggage or equipment as needed. * The ability to prepare basic reports as required, demonstrating basic computer operations skills and attention to detail. * The ability to work varied hours and work independently with minimal support, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills. * The ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, ensuring that you can receive and act on instructions from management and colleagues. * The ability to responsibly perform all job duties in compliance with safety and security requirements, upholding high standards of professionalism and integrity. * The ability to deal courteously with the public and represent blithequark in a professional and friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our customers. **Special Requirements** To be considered for this role, you must: * Possess and maintain a valid driver's license, ensuring that you can operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently. * Pass a pre-hire drug screen and random alcohol and drug testing, demonstrating your commitment to a safe and healthy work environment. * Pass a federal fingerprint-based criminal history background check, ensuring that you can work in a secure and sensitive environment. * Be available for recall during non-duty hours for emergencies, snow removal, or other required duties, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. **Requirements** To be eligible for this role, you will need to possess: * A high school equivalent education, demonstrating basic literacy and numeracy skills. * Six months to one year of work experience in customer service, ensuring that you have developed essential skills and knowledge in this area. * Basic computer operations experience, including email, demonstrating your ability to use technology effectively and efficiently. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
