Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Experience and Operations Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the flexibility and comfort of working from home while being an integral part of our operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that every aspect of the customer experience is positive, from responding to phone calls and email inquiries to providing administrative support and processing reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations, including light accounts receivable and payable tasks. Key Responsibilities Answer all incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service to callers by answering questions about services/products and offering basic technical support Process orders and collect customer information over the phone, updating their online accounts as necessary Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner Provide administrative support to the team, including processing Excel files and Google Sheets in accordance with specific weekly, monthly, or quarterly tasks Conduct outgoing calls to customers who are missing information from their profiles Complete updates to curriculum, including formatting and adding images/audio to slides, and review course content for grammatical/spelling errors and general room for improvement Perform light Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks, including emailing invoices, approving check orders, following up on outstanding invoices, and applying checks Be available for an occasional Saturday (approximately once a month) to help facilitate a classroom training, including taking attendance and answering questions Additional tasks or projects as identified by the team Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Reliable strong internet connection Quiet work environment suitable for talking on the phone with customers Functional office setup with a working, up-to-date computer (blithequark may be able to provide a computer if needed) Customer service experience Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs Excellent writing skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask, with the ability to juggle multiple projects with consistent accuracy Reliable, organized, self-starter, and motivated Excellent phone and people skills, including listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution Ability to prioritize projects and work independently Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Residence in Massachusetts, with availability to proctor an in-person classroom training approximately one Saturday per month Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on customer service and operations Familiarity with online training platforms and curriculum development Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
