Experienced Customer Development Manager - Food Service On Premise (FSOP) for Strategic Business Growth and Customer Relationship Management

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Development Manager - Food Service On Premise (FSOP) to join our team in South Florida. As a key member of our FSOP team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing data-driven sales strategies to drive business growth, expand our customer base, and strengthen our position in the market. This role can be based out of our Palm Beach, Miami, or Hollywood offices, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of Food Service On Premise (FSOP) Key Account customers and an assigned traditional FSOP Channel, focusing on amusement, recreation, general merchandise, retail, auto, lodging, health, hospital, education, or airline/cruise ships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Profit Growth Management, Demand Planning, Commercial Marketing, Sales Operations, Local Field Sales, and CCNA, to ensure seamless customer service and performance.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging success stories to build new partnerships and drive business expansion.
Negotiate contracts for new business and re-negotiate contracts for existing business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive growth and profitability.
Oversee FSOP Channel performance, creating and executing Channel-specific programs that achieve targeted objectives, such as Channel Picture of Success, Deep Dive analyses, and Gap solves.
Execute forecasting processes to ensure accurate forecasting of key metrics, including volume, revenue, and revenue per customer.
Provide feedback on marketplace conditions, including competition, channel plans, and pricing architecture, to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
Identify opportunities for business improvement, creating solutions to close gaps in volume, price, profit, and net outlets, and conducting post-promotional analysis to measure the success of promotions.
Lead the development and achievement of comprehensive annual and multi-year business plans for customers and assigned FSOP Channels, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the FSOP Channel and industry.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
5-8 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, or customer development.
Experience working with Nielsen and other syndicated data, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of developing successful annual business plans and price/package plans for retail customers.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Experience in Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling, and Account Management, with a strong understanding of the Food Service On Premise (FSOP) and Beverage categories.
Knowledge of beverage operations, including fountain, vending, and on-premise products, and how they contribute to business relationships.
A valid driver's license with no major moving violations in the last three years, and the ability to travel up to 35% of the time, primarily within the arenaflex territory.
