Key Responsibilities and Expectations As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of incoming calls from customers, stores, and associates, navigating multiple systems to aid in answering questions and resolving issues. Some of the key responsibilities and expectations include: Managing incoming calls and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a professional and conversational manner Navigating multiple systems to access customer information and resolve issues Utilizing all available resources to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Working a variety of shifts, including 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, to ensure adequate coverage Collaborating with other teams and departments to resolve complex customer issues Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Word Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate multiple systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems and software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
