About the Role: Customer Care Specialist in Healthcare In this fully remote, long-term contract position, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to navigate our systems and access their accounts effortlessly. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be part of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Team, working closely with our healthcare clients to resolve login issues, address account access questions, and provide basic technical support. Your exceptional communication skills, patience, and empathy will be invaluable in helping our customers, particularly older adults, who require extra support and understanding. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate and professional support to Medicare and Medicaid customers via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communications, addressing their account access questions, password resets, and web portal navigation needs. Troubleshoot technical issues related to account management, assisting users in navigating system features and resolving problems efficiently. Document all interactions in our ServiceNow ticketing system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for tracking and follow-up purposes. Offer basic technical support, including guidance on clearing browser cache/history and navigating Microsoft Office applications, to ensure our customers can access the information they need. Collaborate with our internal teams to resolve complex issues, escalating problems when necessary to ensure prompt and effective solutions. Essential Qualifications: Proven experience in a call center environment, preferably with a focus on password resets or customer account support, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow, and call management platforms, like Avaya, allowing you to efficiently manage customer interactions and resolve issues. Basic technical troubleshooting skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications, enabling you to provide effective support to our customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both over the phone and via email. A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, characterized by empathy, patience, and professionalism, particularly when interacting with non-technical customers. Experience working remotely from home, following a set schedule (9AM-6PM EST), and maintaining a high level of productivity and discipline in a home office environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting healthcare customers with Medicare/Medicaid services, demonstrating your understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique challenges. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA, ensuring you can maintain confidentiality and adhere to industry standards.
