About the Commerce Lifecycle & Platform Team The Commerce Lifecycle & Platform team, within the Growth XD department, is responsible for creating seamless and engaging customer acquisition and retention experiences. As a Content Design Manager in this team, you will lead a group of talented Content Designers in developing strategic content that minimizes friction and helps Netflix communicate effectively with a global audience. Key Responsibilities Manage and build a diverse, globally-minded team of Content Designers, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to ensure their growth and success. Develop and execute Content Design strategies that stay ahead of the growing business, elevate the user experience, and drive revenue growth opportunities. Collaborate with other design, writing, product, and engineering leaders to shape the strategic product vision for the Commerce Lifecycle & Platform team. Provide strategic clarity and focus, identifying and unblocking barriers to success, and ensuring that the team is equipped to deliver high-quality results. Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering, to drive innovation and simplify complex problems. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: 5+ years of experience managing a Content Design team, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to build successful working relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members at the individual and group level. Experience developing and guiding language systems, scaling strategies, and other Content Design deliverables. Experience working on global products and partnering with Globalization teams to ensure that content is effective and engaging for diverse audiences. Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to simplify complex problems and support ideas with data.
