**Day in the Life**
As a Consumer Insight Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Buyer Knowledge group in driving business growth through consumer insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Conducting subjective and quantitative customer research on the side of the Disney Parks and Resorts section
* Collaborating with senior leaders to examine secondary data sources, design research studies, analyze data, create presentations, and share results with internal stakeholders
* Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of consumer behavior and preferences
* Identifying opportunities for business growth and development
* Providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
**What We're Looking For**
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with a passion for consumer insights and business growth. To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
* Experience with SPSS or a similar statistical software package
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to gather and analyze data, and write about the results
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to translate data into insights and create compelling presentations
* A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with SurveyMonkey or a similar survey software package
* Past research experience
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
**Education Requirements**
To be eligible for this internship, you must be a current student or recent graduate (within the past six months) seeking a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Human Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
**Additional Requirements**
* Must be enrolled in a certified school/college taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) preceding support in the internship program OR have graduated from a school/college within the past six months
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Must not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or program
* Must have unlimited work authorization
* Must be willing to adhere to The Disney Look appearance rules
* Must have a reliable, solid plan for getting work done throughout the internship
* Must have solid transportation to/from work
**Program Length**
The estimated dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024.
