About the Position As a Disney Destinations Communications Intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our global Sales, Services & Events team. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective communication strategies for various U.S. based Disney Destinations. Responsibilities As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for: Supporting internal and third-party client communication initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective message delivery. Assisting with local Cast engagement efforts and social media content creation, fostering a sense of community and excitement around Disney Destinations. Distributing day-to-day operational updates and messages, keeping stakeholders informed and up-to-date on the latest developments. Developing and implementing communication strategies under the guidance of our Sales Communication Manager, driving results-oriented initiatives that meet our business objectives. Designing engaging visuals for digital signage, presentations, and Cast recognition initiatives, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail. Conducting photography for print and electronic communications, capturing the essence of Disney Destinations and its magical experiences. Managing communication distribution needs, including print collateral and intranet updates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of critical information. Crafting creative social media content for Disney Travel Professional platforms, amplifying our brand's online presence and engaging with our audience. Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: Graphic design experience with innovative and creative ideas, showcasing your ability to think outside the box and push boundaries. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex information and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications, ensuring seamless integration with our existing tools and workflows.
