About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Tutor who is passionate about inspiring and educating students. As a College Level Chemistry Tutor at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work with students who are eager to learn and succeed, and to make a real impact on their educational journey. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who is able to adapt to different learning styles and has a solid understanding of the field of education. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring to students in College Level Chemistry, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and session reports, and submit them to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed Respond promptly and professionally to students' concerns, questions, and requests, and follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours Service existing clients' needs, and ensure that their expectations are met and exceeded Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs, ensuring that each student receives the best possible support and guidance Essential Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred, with a focus on tutoring and/or teaching in specialized education fields Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not a requirement Experience with basic Database/Data Entry, and the ability to prepare comprehensive lesson plans and session reports Strong administration skills, including typing, PC, and recording skills Having a personality that is suited for different types of students, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must, as well as access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Preferred Qualifications Experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds, including those with special needs Knowledge of current educational technologies and trends, and the ability to incorporate them into tutoring sessions Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and our office team Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the ongoing development and growth of our tutors.
