Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Claims Data Entry Specialist plays a vital role in our operations, providing administrative and clerical support to our contact center and various departments. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of claims data, supporting the seamless operation of our services. As a Claims Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Accurately entering claim information from various sources into our automated system, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Attaching supporting documents to claim files and ensuring they are forwarded to the appropriate person or department, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
Assisting in making necessary adjustments to claims, including voiding claims, changing loss types, dates of loss, and processing other requested changes efficiently, demonstrating a strong ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Providing backup phone coverage, offering assistance and support to customers as needed, and responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via our chat application, showcasing excellent communication skills and a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
Performing additional support tasks as requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.


Schedule and Work Arrangement
This is a full-time position, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (37.5-hour work week). The initial 90 days will be spent on-site, allowing for comprehensive training and onboarding. Following a review of knowledge and performance, the option to transition to a 100% remote work arrangement may be available, offering the flexibility and work-life balance that many professionals desire.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
2-4 years of experience in general office work, showcasing a capability to handle various administrative tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
A strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to challenging situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, essential for efficient data management and communication.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
