Job Overview The Claims Data Entry Specialist plays a vital role in our operations, providing administrative and clerical support to our contact center and various departments. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of claims data, which is essential to the seamless operation of our services. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter claim information from various sources into our automated system, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to established protocols. Attach supporting documents to claim files and ensure they are forwarded to the appropriate person or department, maintaining organized and up-to-date records. Assist in making necessary adjustments to claims, including voiding claims, changing loss types, dates of loss, and processing other requested changes efficiently, while providing excellent customer support. Provide backup phone coverage, offering assistance and support to customers as needed, and responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via our chat application. Perform additional support tasks as requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of administrative, technical, and interpersonal skills. The following requirements and qualifications are essential: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 2-4 years of experience in general office work, demonstrating a capability to handle various administrative tasks. A strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
