As a Chemistry Tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to help them understand and master the concepts of college-level chemistry. You will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, and assessing student progress. **Responsibilities** As a Chemistry Tutor at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Providing high-quality instruction and support to students in college-level chemistry * Creating and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students * Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly * Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular reports to parents and guardians * Communicating effectively with parents and guardians to ensure that students receive the support they need * Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment * Adapting to different learning styles and needs of individual students * Providing additional support and resources to students as needed **Minimum Qualifications** To be considered for this position, you must have: * A minimum of 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred * A minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred * Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement * Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry * Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan) * A personality that is suited for different types of students * Strong administration skills * Strong typing, PC and recording skills * Reliable transportation with current car insurance * Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles * Familiarity with educational software and technology * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities **Compensation and Benefits** We offer competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications.
