As a Career Consultant, you will play a critical role in guiding candidates through the career transition process, from assessing their skills and interests to creating a tailored career marketing plan and securing new job opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist candidates across a broad spectrum of career transition needs, including managing change, assessing skills and interests, and defining career goals. Guide candidates in resume and LinkedIn profile development, interviewing, negotiating, and new job assimilation. Support candidates in building confidence and creating a tailored career marketing plan that aligns with their experience, interests, and the demands of the job market. Engage, motivate, and guide candidates in utilizing Workwarp's resources and technology tools, including LinkedIn, AI, ChatGPT, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Demonstrate expertise in current job-related technology, including Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Suite. Help candidates connect to job opportunities by staying informed about current job market trends and the significance of industry and professional groups. Provide coaching expertise to assist individuals during interviews and salary negotiations, enabling them to navigate the job search process confidently and secure suitable job opportunities. Manage time and priorities related to individual program deliverables and candidate activity reporting. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Preferred 8+ years of professional expertise in Career Consulting or related fields, such as human resources, recruitment, or management consulting. Business/industry experience across diverse industries, such as high tech, financial services, healthcare, and marketing. Strong job market expertise to assist individuals in assessing their skills and identifying potential fits across various industries. Knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategies used by recruiters and hiring managers, including ATS systems and applicant sourcing. Agility in utilizing technology tools and resources, including Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Suite. Strong service orientation with a passion for making a difference for individuals.
