At blithequark, we're committed to addressing this large and rapidly growing problem through data-driven virtual care management. **Job Overview** The Billing Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for: * Encounter Management: Completing all necessary encounters for various practices, ensuring accurate data entry in the appropriate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. * Optometrist Referral Processing: Managing the referral process for optometrists by entering referrals from the EHR into Salesforce. * Out-of-Pocket (OOP) Cost Ticket Requests: Addressing tickets related to OOP costs as generated by the Customer Care (CC) team. * Eligibility Queries: Responding to eligibility-related questions from the Enrollment Team as needed, utilizing EHR data. **Essential Functions** * Resourcefulness: Ability to find solutions to problems independently. * Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on accuracy and completeness of work. * Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. * Team Player: Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals. * Ability to maintain focus in a repetitive work environment. * Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry. * Capacity to handle sensitive data with confidentiality. * Effective time management skills while working remotely. * Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Required Skills** * High School Diploma or GED. * Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience. * Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with experience in Excel or Google Sheets. * Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute. * Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena. * Experience with clinical data entry. (Preferred) * Familiarity with Salesforce. (Preferred) * Knowledge of full cycle billing or coding processes.
