**Primary Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative - Employee Benefits, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing quality and professional customer service to participants, including the use of proper telephone etiquette
* Processing enrollments and qualified life events updates in a timely and accurate manner
* Educating members about enrollment options and benefits programs
* Ensuring follow-up on all calls that need resolution, including escalating issues to supervisors as needed
* Providing backup to other areas, based on business needs during call center downtime
* Demonstrating a positive and cooperative work attitude, encouraging teamwork among fellow employees
* Following HIPAA Guidelines, Rules, and Regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of client data
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Agent certification
* Proven customer service and/or insurance sales experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organizational and follow-through skills
* Previous experience using online enrollment platforms and support ticketing systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
