Job Overview We are excited to offer a unique and rewarding opportunity for a Behavior Technician to work with students on the Autism Spectrum, ages 3-22, in a 1:1 setting. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing programming, under the guidance of a consultant, to address Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals for each student. Key Responsibilities Apply the principles of behavior science to tutor students and effectively manage behaviors as needed Run data-driven practices as assigned, including implementing "Precision Teaching" and discrete-trial training Implement direct instruction programs and techniques, using explicit instruction as assigned Perform habit training duties and record accurate data Adhere to behavior management programs assigned to each student and arrange and maintain a safe and effective learning environment Submit all data and records by established deadlines Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in behavior science and a passion for working with students with autism.
