Experienced Assistant Teaching Professor in Biology for Remote Undergraduate Education and Research Opportunities

Position Overview We are excited to offer a non-tenure line assistant/associate teaching professor position starting in Fall 2024, with a focus on teaching our introductory undergraduate lecture and laboratory course in Function and Development of Organisms (BIOL 240W). This course takes an integrated approach to the comparative physiology of both plants and animals/humans, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in plant and/or animal/human physiology, as well as laboratory teaching experience in these areas. The ideal candidate will have experience with using active learning and other best practices in large lecture settings, and will be able to contribute to the development of our undergraduate program.
