Content Writer / Content Strategist (Freelance | Remote | EST regular business hours) Our client is looking for a seasoned Content Strategist with a strong background in both B2B and B2C copywriting to join their team on a remote freelance basis. This role reports directly to the Head of Content and will support a range of digital initiatives across web, email, product, and long-form content. Commitment: 30-40 hours/week Location: Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone and be available during standard business hours. Rate: $50-$58/hr, W2 Responsibilities • Elevate the newly launched website with fresh, strategic content • Craft compelling email copy to support marketing campaigns • Develop long-form assets including solution sheets, blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment • Write with SEO best practices in mind Requirements • Proven experience writing for tech audiences, with a strong B2C portfolio • A strategic mindset with the ability to ideate and execute across channels • Versatility in writing for multiple audiences (B2B and B2C) • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience • Experience writing promotional emails for blog content and events • Solid understanding of SEO principles (Yoast familiarity is a plus) • A portfolio that showcases a range of work: blogs, long-form content, email campaigns, sell sheets, event promos, product copy, and social media Bonus Points • Excellent communicator and collaborator • Familiarity with WordPress In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
