About the Role As a FedEx Delivery Driver with Matador Transit, you will be responsible for dispatching out of our terminal located at 481 Gregg Dr, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211, and delivering packages in sprinter vans provided by the employer. You will be expected to arrive at the terminal, load and unload packages, deliver packages to the destination, scan and log packages, and perform other related duties. We are seeking both full-time and part-time drivers to join our team, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits package to our employees. Key Responsibilities: Arrive at the Buena Vista FedEx terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages Load and unload packages from the truck Deliver packages to the destination in a timely and efficient manner Scan and log packages using handheld devices Able to deliver at least 50 stops per day Deliver packages up to 150lbs with a dolly Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction Perform other related duties as required Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: Essential Qualifications: Clean driving record Applicants must be 21 years of age or older Must submit to a background check Live within 30 minutes of Buena Vista, Colorado Able to lift, carry, and deliver packages up to 150lbs Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Past experience driving for FedEx, UPS, Amazon, Walmart, or any other similar companies Military experience is a plus No high school diploma required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift, carry, and deliver packages up to 150lbs Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Basic knowledge of handheld devices and scanning equipment Able to navigate through GPS and other navigation tools Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Matador Transit, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
