Together, we'll help our clients achieve their goals and make the most of their endeavors. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll work closely with our Accounts Payable Manager and other AP professionals to ensure the smooth execution of all AP programs. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into SAP * Screening the AP email inbox to download vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests * Bi-weekly review of various SAP reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure invoices are being processed timely and accurately * Planning 1099 reporting and ensuring all vendors have the necessary tax identification and W-9 information on record * Collaborating with vendors in a timely and professional manner * Receiving and processing vendor invoices (60% of time) * Vendor support (30% of time) * Incidental ongoing/exceptional activities (10% of time) * Reviewing receipt aging * Ensuring accurate general ledger coding * Ensuring accurate matching of purchase orders to invoices * Providing excellent customer support to all vendors and stakeholders **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field * At least 0-2 years of relevant work experience * Demonstrated history of handling Accounts Payable functions, preferably in a discount distribution environment * SAP experience is a plus, but not required * Ability to handle a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency * Strong Excel skills and ability to create accounting spreadsheets for tracking vendor activity * Objective-oriented with high standards for excellence * Self-motivated and willing to complete projects by deadline * Ability to manage routine tasks and maintain attention to detail * Obsessive attention to detail * Proactive approach to finding new efficiencies for the organization * Ability to handle unique tasks as assigned and work diligently to a successful outcome * Excellent communication and project management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
