**Responsibilities**
As an Accessioner I/Medical Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Clinical Laboratory services. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing client samples, quality control samples, and proficiency samples in accordance with SOPs
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including equipment and supplies
* Completing all documents accurately and neatly, including chain of custody and custody and control forms
* Performing material handling duties, including supplying workstations with packaged samples, racks and bins to hold processed samples, and stocking other supplies necessary for accessioning
* Using independent judgment to decide how to process a wide variety of samples in accordance with applicable requirements, standards, and regulations
* Working in a fast-paced environment, on your feet during shifts, with lots of standing and sorting samples into runs/labeling uncapped samples
* Handling errors as they come through, after pipetting, and offloading samples
* Collaborating with the pipetting department to ensure seamless sample processing
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to receive on-the-job training
* Must be able to distinguish colors, including shades of colors
* Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and rotate/turn with up to thirty pounds
* Ability to work independently under general supervision
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment to meet established turnaround times
* Must be able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
* Required Skills: Fast-paced environment experience
* Education Requirement: HS or GED
