Job Overview
As an ABA/Autism Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, implementing ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one in-home therapy sessions, collecting behavior and skill acquisition data, and conducting discrete trials, behavior support, and treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with our team of BCBAs and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

High School diploma or GED
Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
1-year ABA Experience (or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting)
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients


Preferred Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience
