Junior Systems Administrator

They are seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support all IT-related needs, manage hardware projects, and troubleshoot infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesAct as the bridge between end-users and senior supportTriage incoming IT requests to ensure efficient routing and resolutionManage user lifecycles in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, including new hire onboardingExecute the hardware lifecycle from procurement and inventory to imaging and deploymentInstall and configure office-wide software and hardware while managing licenses and upgrade schedulesMaintain technical documentation, "Self-Service" guides, and internal knowledge base articlesMonitor and troubleshoot LAN, VPN, and network connectivity to ensure uninterrupted workflowsManage personal ticket queues with a focus on responsiveness and critical issue escalationIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive manual tasks through scripting and process improvementThis role is in the Systems team and will report directly to the Director of SystemsPerform other related duties as assignedSkills1+ years of providing IT support experience or an AA/Technical Certificate in lieu of experienceTechnical knowledge of at least one major Operating System: MacOS, Windows, or LinuxProven experience in Help Desk support and customer serviceTechnical knowledge of basic networking fundamentals is a MUSTStrong ability to troubleshoot and grasp complex technical conceptsProficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, M365, and Active Directory administrationAbility to provide ad-hoc user training to help the team master internal tools and softwareSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate workflows across departmentsDependable with the initiative to work collaboratively and with a high sense of urgencyProactive, independent problem solver who knows how to find answers autonomouslyExperience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Jamf or Microsoft Intune is a BIG plusMad bonus points if you have CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ certificationsBonus points for experience with Figma management, technical writing, or root cause analysisBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits401(K) with company matchingFinancial Wellness CounselingSunglasses.
