Executive Assistant, Music (Disney Television Animation)

The TVA Music team is seeking an Executive Assistant who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As an Executive Assistant, you will materially impact the productivity and efficiency of the team. The ideal candidate knows music production, is a detail-oriented individual capable of consistently achieving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Music.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a very busy calendar for the SVP & VP (schedule meetings, answer phones, manage call sheets); make travel arrangements and process expense reports.
• Review your leader’s schedule to build-in time to prep for meetings properly and assist with prep when needed.
• Coordinate Drive-on/security passes for talent and guide talent to locations
• Create lyric and take sheets for song recording sessions and assist with deliveries to talent
• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure effective communication.
• Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams, your ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels is a crucial aspect of your role.
• Capture meeting minutes and track action items.
• Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual materials and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted.
• Evaluate materials such as scripts, outlines and submissions.
• Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded company.
• Provide other administrative support for the team as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of transferable experience in a fast-paced environment at an agency, network or studio.
• Ability to anticipate administrative needs and work with a sense of urgency.
• Experience with managing complex calendars, travel arrangements and professional meetings/events.
• Proven skills at building and maintaining business relationships, multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure.
• A “can-do” attitude – relentlessly collaborate and positive; nothing is too large or too small.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical proficiency in all Microsoft and Google applications (Airtable experience appreciated).
• Exceptional organizational skills with thoughtful judgment, commitment and tenacity, and a passion for details.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface and effectively partner with a variety of internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge and passion for television and media.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of administrative assistant experience, with prior experience supporting a senior level executive at an agency, network or studio.
• Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred.
• Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media.
• Background and interest in music.

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $58,700.00 to $78,600.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
