The Role, Executive Assistant
• Hybrid role: Reston, VA, 4 days in office

GoCanvas is revolutionizing how work gets done by modernizing small businesses through a powerful cloud-based platform and customizable mobile experiences. We are seeking a dynamic, multi-tasking and detail-oriented administrative professional to work alongside our C-suite leadership as our Executive Assistant. You will be working directly with the CEO to assist him with the day-to-day administration of

GoCanvas while supporting other senior executives to stay connected and engaged. This will include calendar management, meeting, event and travel arrangements, stakeholder engagement and ad-hoc project management, and preparing presentations, reports, and research.

Our ideal candidate will be a masterful problem-solver and an organizational force and must be a team player who anticipates needs with the ability to adapt to demanding and ever-changing situations. This role will be required to be in-person 4 days a week in our Reston, VA office.

Your Most Important Initiatives:
• Coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars: including but not limited to team meetings, full department, all-hands, off-sites, and one-on-one meetings
• Coordinate project management activities for cross-departmental initiatives large to small; these could include presentations (internal and external), research tasks, internal GoCanvas initiatives, facility and regulatory execution, and more
• Manage the CEO’s calendar to ensure that meetings, deadlines, presentations, and other duties are prioritized accordingly
• Manage meetings including scheduling conference calls, video conference meetings, in-person and offsite meetings, arranging and booking international and domestic travel, organizing car transportation, hotel accommodations, and conferences as needed
• Manage Communications projects on an ad-hoc and ongoing basis; maintain a work plan of key activities across channels
• Monitoring and responding to incoming communications via email, phone, and social media
• Create meaningful communications including talking points and all-hands presentations
• Coordinate logistics for special business events and personal projects
• Attend key executive meetings and organize action items and go-forward strategies as needed, acting as a liaison for direct reports
• Uphold a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

What You Bring:
• At least 2+ years administrative experience
• Schedule Management/Office Coordination in a similar setting
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail and Google Calendar especially), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Project Management experience
• Agility and flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs
• A team-player mindset, looking to step in where help is most needed
• A collaborative and consultative working process
• Resiliency, courage, willingness to fail fast and embody the values of GoCanvas
• Highly effective communication skills and exceptional attention to detail; someone who values the core elements of our key values including the power of empathy and the need for diversity in a thriving team!

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is $62,000- $84,000 annually. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
