About the Role
Seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to support a keynote speaker and author. This is an opportunity to be the behind-the-scenes force that keeps a thriving speaking practice running smoothly.
You'll be the professional face of our business, managing client relationships from initial inquiry through successful event delivery. Working closely with our operations/project manager, you'll coordinate speaking engagements, manage communications, and ensure every detail is handled with excellence.
What You'll Do
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for speaking inquiries and client communications
Calendar Management: Coordinate complex scheduling for speaking engagements, travel, and business activities
Engagement Setup: Handle logistics for speaking events from contract to completion
Contract Management: Create and manage professional service agreements
Project Coordination: Collaborate with our operations team using Basecamp to ensure seamless event delivery
Administrative Excellence: Maintain organized systems and processes that support business growth

Essential Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong self-management and ability to work independently
Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
Professional demeanor in all client interactions
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Basecamp or similar project management tools
Background in event coordination, client services, or executive support
Familiarity with the speaking/events industry
The Details
Hours: 5-7 hours per week (20-25 hours monthly)
Schedule: Flexible daily schedule with daily check-ins required
