Job Responsibilities:
As a Call Center Representative at Walgreens, you will be responsible for:
Processing new patient enrollment by entering data into our system
Handling patient medication requests and entering refill orders for processing
Investigating and resolving missing prescription data and interpreting medical abbreviations (SIG codes)
Resolving third-party rejections by researching, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing
Providing support to pharmacists and communicating issues to senior-level staff as needed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree
Basic computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, starting and closing programs)
Basic internet search skills (e.g., opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine)
Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment
Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients
Advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
