About the position Responsibilities • Resolve settlement issues and serve as a SME (subject matter expert) to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate complex issues as needed • Individual mapped to this job description is responsible for derivatives transaction processing execution • Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management • Support implementation of securities processing improvements • Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes • Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing • Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards • Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when required • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency Requirements • 5-8 years of relevant experience • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge & Full understanding of the Futures & Options trade life cycle • Knowledge & Full understanding of the Futures Deliveries & Option Expiry Processes • Firm understanding of top day Futures trade clearing • Solid experience in T+ break resolution • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience Benefits • In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards. • Citi offers competitive employee benefits, including: medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs. • Citi also offers paid time off packages, including planned time off (vacation), unplanned time off (sick leave), and paid holidays. • For additional information regarding Citi employee benefits, please visit citibenefits.com. • Available offerings may vary by jurisdiction, job level, and date of hire.
