Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Exchange Infra. Architect with 11+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MS Exchange Online Protect O365 Identity management and M365-Messaging. This role involves working in a remote model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that align with our company’s goals and benefit society.

NOTE: This job profile is exclusively for people with skills on architecting solutions on Microsoft Messaging Services, hence administrators / support resources, please do not apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work as part of a global solutions team to DESIGN, Build Effort Estimation & DEPLOY “Messaging Services” for existing and prospective clients through RFP / RFI.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Owning the design of specific technology solutions from high-level and detailed-level designs to deployment and handover to delivery with minimum of 12+ years’ experience in relevant field

Design:

Ø Design efficient solutions that are operationally cost effective to maintain

Ø Design solutions to availability and resilience targets in line with requirements

Ø Exploit and develop shared design blueprint and documentation for on-going reuse

Ø Determine server specifications and infrastructure requirements (such as storage, networks and security etc.)

Ø Both verbally and in written form articulate solutions and benefits accurately and persuasively reflecting the client’s interests or concerns.

The applicant will have a solid understanding of:

Ø Design & Implementation of Exchange 2010/2013/2016/ 2019 Messaging Services (including hybrid) for at least 10000 mailboxes.

Ø Migration from legacy versions of Exchange / non-exchange systems such as Domino, Groupwise to Exchange 2010/2013/Office 365 Exchange Online

Ø Strong Expertise on Microsoft Office365 - Exchange Online,

Ø Working experience on third party migration tools such as Quest/Binary Tree Tools

Ø Playing multiple roles by being a technical lead/SME in the project and mentoring the team members, participating in knowledge transfer and technical workshop

Create detailed design, migration/transition documentation based on the messaging project requirements

Key technical skills required

The following are the mandatory requirements of infrastructure-based solutions experience for this role:

Experience in the design, implementation of large-scale solutions and platforms with the following technologies:

Ø Experience and understanding of mail transport fundamentals (POP/IMAP/SMTP), including knowledge of DNS, Message Trace Tools, MX and SPF Records, Block Lists, SPAM, Email Filtering and Virus Protection.

Ø Strong working knowledge of Internet Protocols, networking, mail delivery systems, SMTP, mail applications required.

Ø Knowledge and detailed understanding of:

Ø Windows DNS

Ø MS Clustering

Ø IIS

Ø Networking (TCP/IP - Load Balancing - Firewall Rules)

Ø Storage (NAS/SAN)

Ø Virtualization Experience (VMware / Microsoft)

Ø Implementation and Upgrade of Blackberry Enterprise Server

Ø Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, network, and Security would be an advantage.

Ø Experience in scripting using PowerShell for Exchange 2010/2013/ Office365

Ø Implement Exchange Federation, Directory Synchronization and Identity federation between Exchange servers at on-premises and Office 365

Ø Interact clearly with onshore project teams
• Exceptional written skills are required for solution documentation creation for both technical and non-technical material
• A self-driven team player with a flexible and dynamic style, able to work with minimum supervision as well as perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A background of infrastructure design engineering and deployment experience.
• Own and represent specific solution detailed designs through to deployment and acceptance by delivery
• As an Infrastructure architect, maintain a thorough understanding of new product features, new solutions and approaches along with potential business benefits to the architecture team and wider service line
• Continuously innovate and identify solution improvements specifically aimed at reducing the on-going operation costs

Core technology competencies required:

Appropriate technology certification:
• Exam MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
• Exam MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
• Exam MS-203: Microsoft 365 Messaging

Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position [$99,000 to $154,000] is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
