Title : ETL/Data Warehouse Engineer Location : Remote Type : Full Time Position Summary : The Senior ETL Developer / Data Warehouse Engineer supports federal clients by designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable data integration and data warehousing solutions. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise ETL pipelines, data models, and data stores that enable accurate, timely, and auditable data access across internal and external systems. The position requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated federal environment. Responsibilities : • Determine enterprise data storage and data integration requirements in support of federal mission needs. • Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, operational data stores (ODS), and data marts to support internal departments and analytics use cases. • Lead logical and physical data model design, implementation, and optimization. • Develop, automate, and support robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources. • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and overall data quality across all data pipelines. • Design and implement ETL workflows using the Talend ETL platform, including logical and physical data flow models. • Translate data access, transformation, and data mobility requirements into functional specifications and mapping designs. • Integrate data from a variety of interfaces, including REST APIs, SOAP services, custom APIs, SQL-based sources, and NoSQL platforms. • Perform advanced SQL development and tuning, including stored procedures, views, and performance optimization. • Troubleshoot complex data issues and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure reliable and compliant data delivery. Job Requirements : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 12 years work experience with, 5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing in enterprise environments. • Demonstrated experience designing and supporting large-scale ETL pipelines and data integration solutions. • Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization, stored procedures, views, and database performance tuning. • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse design patterns. • Hands-on experience with Talend ETL tools. • Experience with relational and non-relational (SQL/NoSQL) data platforms, including Snowflake. • Working knowledge of integrating data using REST, SOAP, custom APIs, and direct database access. • Professional Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot complex data issues. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment. • Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgment. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
